- Cult films are important in the lives of the people who are interested in them e.g. Rocky Horror fans will attend midnight screenings of the film dressed accordingly, Star Trek fans attend conventions dressed as their favourite character – some even learn Star Trek languages such as Vulcan or Klingon.
